Redmi Note 8 Pro Sold 300,000 Units in First Sale
Redmi Note 8 Pro has managed to sell up to 300,000 units in China in its first sale. The company has announced that the second sale will take place on September 6 in the country. Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro phones were launched in China last week. The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a quad rear camera configuration, a water drop style notch, a 4,500 mAh battery and also works with the MediaTek Helio G90T processor.
Lu Weibing, CEO of Redmi, went to Weibo to announce that 300,000 Redmi Note 8 Pro units were sold at the first sale. The company also confirmed that the second sale will take place on September 6. The time needed to sell these units has not yet been disclosed. The Redmi Note 8, on the other hand, will go on sale for the first time in China on September 17. It is confirmed that the phones will be launched in India in approximately eight weeks.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a price in China of CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 14,000) for its base variant with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of on-board storage. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models are priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 18,000), respectively. It is sold in three colors: pearl white, ice emerald and light gray electric. In addition to the regular Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi has also presented a limited edition of the World of Warcraft phone that will come with exclusive items, custom themes and more.
