Samsung Galaxy Fold is to launch on September 27
Eminent tech blogger Ivan Blas has set the launch date for September 27 for the Samsung Galaxy fold. Samsung had previously confirmed its revised Galaxy Fold to begin in September, but the company did not reveal a specific date.
According to previous rumors Samsung may release the fold in South Korea as early as September 18, but we still do not confirm that. Back in July, the company released an official statement that detailed all the improvements made to the fold's design. These include a modified hinge mechanism to prevent any particles from screen damage as well as an extended protective layer above the display.
Samsung also claimed that it worked on improving the user experience with more customized applications and services capable of leveraging large screen real estate. Samsung now has all this left to confirm the release date.
