Samsung Galaxy S11 could have a key iPhone 11 camera feature
The camera specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S11 are still a mystery, it is not surprising that the phone will not be released until 2020, but now we can learn about the laptop's "photographic brain", which will be inspired by the key iPhone 11 software, according to a leak.
The information comes from the @UniverseIce leaker, a fairly reliable source for news on incoming smartphones, which suggests Samsung develop a post-processing function similar to Deep Fusion.
Deep Fusion is the technology of the new Apple smartphones that analyzes a photograph by color, texture and more, to optimize the image and make it as beautiful as possible.
It does this with machine learning, but also by taking multiple photos with different exposures to completely capture a scene.
It is worth noting that many smartphones already have similar features, with various HDR modes, scene optimization and automatic processing modes that play very similar roles, so many Android phones already have post-processing software in a certain measure.
Furthermore, a camera that takes more photos and combines them into one is not a new feature: it was a key strength of Google Pixel 3 and even the Nokia 9 PureView could do it.
The impressive thing about the iPhone 11 Deep Fusion is that the smartphone's processing power will make it easy and fast to perform an in-depth analysis of an image to improve it, unlike most Android smartphones that sometimes have mediocre presentations in this regard .

An example is the Samsung Galaxy S10, since while it has an impressive camera, the suite of scene optimization features is perhaps a bit lacking. It's understandable, given that Samsung has focused on other areas (such as Live Focus or Shot Suggestion), but it could also have an advanced machine learning feature.
If Samsung offers an advanced machine learning feature on the Samsung Galaxy S11 (and calls it something less vague and terrifying than Deep Fusion), it could blow up the iPhone 11 camera. We'll have to wait until early 2020 to find out if this happens, though.
