Right after the presentation of Infinity Flex Display at SDC 2018, Samsung and Google established test laboratories in several key cities around the world and invited partners and developers to test their applications on the folding phone. And with the new Android 10, Google promises more optimizations for the folding form factor.

In addition to the hardware challenges that Samsung faced when developing the Galaxy Fold, the tech giant also had to think about the user experience and how the software would get along with the new form factor. Well, the Korean tech giant says it started development in April 2018 and collaborated with Google, other Android application partners and developers. With Android 10, we can expect improved resizable activities, multiple resume function and Android Emulator to support switching from multiple screens.

Samsung is paving the way for future folding devices so that the most used applications behave well in the new flexible OLEDs. Some of the applications specially optimized for Galaxy Fold include Amazon Prime Video, App in the Air, Facebook, iHeartMedia, Microsoft applications, Spotify, Twitter, VSCO.
