Xiaomi Air 2 Bluetooth earphones to be launched soon, photo of leaked retail box
Xiaomi launched its first wireless stereo earphones Xiaomi AirDots Youth Edition in December last year. After this, in January 2019, the company introduced Xiaomi Air Bluetooth Earphones. Now the company is ready to launch its successor Xiaomi Air 2 (Mi AirDots Pro 2).
Although there is still some time left to launch these earphones, the picture of its retool box was leaked. Recently a photo has been shared on the internet, in which the retail box of Xiaomi Air 2 is visible in the background. It is believed that this photo has been clicked in Xiaomi's office where this retail box is seen placed on an employee's desk.
On zooming the photo, the design of these incoming earphones can be gauged. Its earbuds are white in color and come with old casings. At the same time, a change can be seen in the part going inside the ear of earphones. The new retail box looks quite similar to the original Air.
Xiaomi's Air 2 is said to be a Chinese version of the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 which was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website in July this year. It was said in this Bluetooth listing that it will now also support Bluetooth version 5.0. This will give better connection range and battery life due to Bluetooth 5.0 support.
It is expected that Xiaomi Air 2 Bluetooth earphones will come with touch controls like the previous variant. Users liked this feature because they can activate music control and AI assistant along with receiving calls from it. Talking about the launch, the company is planning to launch it this month.
