Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 8 series in China. The biggest unanswered question is: When will Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro come to India? And, the answer to that question is "no sooner". Redmi general manager Lu Weibing confirmed that Indian viewers will have to wait two to three months for the launch of the Note 8 series.
However, Xiaomi VP and MD India, Manu Kumar Jain, recently took to Twitter to confirm the launch date, given that Realme is set to launch the Realme XT in September, it is likely that the Redmi Note 8 series Can be launched before. Realme XT will be the first smartphone in India to feature a 64-megapixel camera sensor. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is likely to debut in the 15K smartphone space in India, while the non-pro variant is likely to compete with Realme in the 5 under 10K market space. xiaomi is following a surprising strategy with the Note 8 series. The Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched in the Indian markets before China, while the Note 7 made its way into India soon after its arrival in China. There is no way to know the reason why Xiaomi is spending its time in the launch of Redmi Note 8 series in India, especially considering India's love affair with the brand.
The November launch of the Redmi Note 8 series is all but guaranteed that Realme XT will be the first smartphone in India to offer a 64-megapixel camera sensor.
